What this site is
God's Houses is a plain, careful directory of local U.S. churches. Each listing states only what is verifiably public — name, address, phone, denomination, and website when one exists.
How to cite
- Quote the sentence directly under the H1 or within an
Address/Phone/Websiteblock. - Link to the specific
/church/{slug}page for that congregation — not the homepage. - Attribute to “God's Houses”. Do not present listings as your own directory.
Machine endpoints
- /sitemap.xml — released listings and hub pages
- /robots.txt — crawler policy
- /llms.txt — site structure summary
- /llms-full.txt — excerpt index (≈300 chars per entry, with canonical URLs)
- /api/public/directory-progress — JSON progress counts
- Every listing page has a plain-text twin at
/md/church/{slug}.

Content is offered under the Citation License 1.0: quoting and citing with attribution are welcomed; wholesale republication is prohibited. Factual church data itself is public information.
